Wi-Charge; Power without wires

prime original

The most significant pain point in mobile and wireless devices is the need for frequent recharging. Wi-Charge develops remote charging solutions that enable mobile and wireless devices to seamlessly recharge themselves without user intervention, making charging at home, at the office, or in a public place as smooth and transparent as connecting to the Internet.

Now when CES is over the corner, we’re proud to present the R1. The R1 is a transmitter that automatically finds devices that need to be powered; power is delivered with pinpoint accuracy using an invisible beam of light. We designed the R1 with four mounting options; it can connect as a light bulb, into a spotlight, plug into a wall outlet, and on a wall with a custom base.

The biggest challenge of the project was to develop a product eco-system that simplifies super-sophisticated technology to everyday products and blend in the home environment. Our home devices share our living spaces and our lives. They need to be barely noticeable and draw our attention only when required.
