Our challenge was to create a balance between the strict technical and physical requirements and the desire to offer a remarkable UX, modern hi-end look and smart usage flow. With the emphasis of a quick and simple manufacturing process to reduce costs and create a retail-friendly service.
When we approached the product design we set a few main goals;
The switcher had to fit all existing sockets and mounting devices, Implement in multiple environments, and behave like a personal assistant. With a clear indication of the various product modes and not less critical, it will replace the current boiler switch in a simple, user-friendly manner.
